My company is looking to franchise its business internationally, and have run into a number of office fit-out issues that we would like to resolve before any big move. 

-What is the average cost / square foot for a franchised business?  We are in real estate, so we are hoping to compare with office style franchises if possible for a closer comparison - but any information would be helpful. 

-Do international franchises use a global supplier for all of their franchisees fit outs?  Or does each franchisee find it's own supplier regionally?

-Is there a standard cost of fit out materials throughout the world? 

-How do franchises control design?

-How often do franchised offices have to be retrofit so that they don't look worn down?  Are there certain materials that are better than others? 

Any ideas / advice on any of the above points would be highly valuable.
